Post a Comment The things that help me get rid of a cold are:
Water, lots of water.

Water is indispensable if you want to make yourself a tea. Coincidentally, It's also a key component of our damp bits called "mucous membrane", which you really want to look out for in case of a cold.
Food, lovely food.

I'm not quite sure on the science behind this one, but experience has taught me, that my body likes a lot of food, when he's off fighting a cold.
A bit of exercise.
Don't give up on exercise altogether, just because you have a cold, however, reduce it to a sustainable minimum, so that symptoms don't get worse as a result of your workout, but you still don't lose touch with your body. Oh yeah: I wish I had a heavy bag. I wonder if the one at Polyterasse is for everybody to use... I'm digressing.
Neo-Citran
Say what you will, but when I have a cold I likes knocking me out with a hot medicine-infused beverage from the labs of Novartis (formerly Sandoz). It lets me sleep even if my nose is running and it gets rid of the freaking pressure in your head that comes from blowing your nose all day.
What do you do when you have a cold? I'm open for suggestions :)

Vaseline, because a nose is not meant to be a portable furnace attached to your face and neither is it meant to hurt like Dante's Inferno. Word.
